Educational-methodical seminar

On the 2nd and 3rd of December 2010, in the Business Center of Hotel Complex "GRINN" in Orel, a training-methodical seminar was conducted by the Prosecutor’s Office of the Investigative Committee of Russian Federation.

The two-day training-methodical seminar was devoted to the efficiency of interaction between units of individual safety of the Investigation Committee under the Prosecutor’s Office of Russian Federation with law enforcement agencies, special services, research organizations, and educational institutions in the Central Federal District.

In the seminar-meeting chaired by the Deputy Head of the Main Organizational-Inspection Agency - head of the office of management of audits and security of the Investigative Committee of Prosecution of Russian Federation - A.V. Yakovlev, participated: the Governor of Orel region Kozlov A.P., member of the State Duma, Chairman of the Committee on Veterans' Affairs of the State Duma Kovalev, N.D.; Chief Federal Inspector in the Orel region, V.V. Kabanov; head of the investigation department of UPC of RF in Orel region Sazin S.T.; Attorney of Orel region Vorobyov, S.D.; representatives of security units of MVD, FSS, the Federal Drug Control Service, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia; senior assistants to heads of investigation departments UPC of subjects of Russian Federation Central Federal District; representatives of law enforcement of Orel region, schools, and administration of Orel city.

At the Business Center during the seminar, the participants discussed the problems of interaction concerning individual safety among law-enforcement agencies, scientific organizations, and educational institutions, both at the federal level and at the level of the Russian Federation based on the example of Central Federal District. UPC representatives of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Internal Affairs, FSS Federal Drug Control Service, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia the participants of the seminar were given a task, taking into account regional specificity, to develop an efficient algorithm for joint action to improve collaboration on individual safety with special attention paid to recruitment in law-enforcement agencies to prevent persons lobbying in the interests of criminals from working in these departments.
